MEMORIZE

1 John 1:1. That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life

1 John 1:2. (and the life was revealed, and we have seen, and testify, and declare to you the life, the eternal life, which was with the Father, and was revealed to us);

1 John 1:3. that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:4. And we write these things to you, that our joy may be fulfilled.

1 John 1:5. This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:6. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie, and don’t tell the truth.

1 John 1:7. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 1:8. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:10. If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 2:4. One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

1 John 2:15. Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him.

1 John 2:16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, isn’t the Father’s, but is the world’s.

1 John 3:18. My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.

1 John 4:7. Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.

1 John 4:8. He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

1 John 4:20. If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

1 John 5:11. The testimony is this, that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

1 John 5:12. He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.

1 John 5:13. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
