In the days of Moses, the LORD God spoke with a mighty blast. But centuries later, the prophet Elijah encountered the voice of the LORD as a still small voice.

Can you hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit within?

 

BIBLE VERSES

 

Exodus 33:19. He said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the LORD’s name before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”

Deuteronomy 30:8. You shall return and obey the LORD’s voice, and do all his commandments which I command you today.

1 Kings 19:11b. Behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake.

1 Kings 19:12. After the earthquake a fire passed; but the LORD was not in the fire. After the fire, there was a still small voice.
