We are to commanded to ask!

 


 

The LORD God is pleased when we ask things of him in prayer.

 


 

Exodus 3:22. But every woman shall ask of her neighbor, and of her who visits her house, jewels of silver, jewels of gold, and clothing. You shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters. You shall plunder the Egyptians.

1 Kings 3:5. In Gibeon, the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask for what I should give you.”

2 Chronicles 1:7. That night, God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for what you want me to give you.”

Psalm 2:8. Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.

Proverbs 1:28. Then they will call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;
