When the LORD God brought them into the Promised Land, God’s people killed the inhabitants and took their houses and cities.
God’s intervention in the time-space continuum. Often that intervention is in the lives of specific people.
When the LORD God brought them into the Promised Land, God’s people killed the inhabitants and took their houses and cities.
The Word of God leapt down from the realm of eternity. He became human and pitched his tent among us. He lived among us here on the earth.
I wrote this Haiku poem after a session of Contemplative Prayer, during a time when I was dangerously low on money.

There were times when the LORD God fed his people with bread from heaven. It was not “the Eucharist.” Rather, it was a miraculous provision that kept them alive.
The LORD God can salvage good out of bad situations. He can turn the worst things around for us. He can cause all things to work together for our good.
