Contemplative Prayer – a Haiku poem
I wrote this Haiku poem after a session of Contemplative Prayer.
Undistracted mind
Heart free from worry and sin
Listening for God
No longer thinking
Quietly resting in God
My body tingles
Alone with Jesus
An hour in his company
My heart’s desire
Approaching Jesus
By contemplative resting
