I wrote this Haiku poem after hearing a talk by Ed Hayes at a retreat.
Delicious Good News
God’s living, talking gospel
Christ in Galilee
The Christian calling
Our primeval vocation
To become holy
It’s very simple
Do everything with delight
The great Eckhart said
We hardly hear it
Its our endangered species
“Silence” is its name
Addicted to prayer
Saturated in the faith
Oozing out with love
