Jesus suffered outside of the Gate

The Lord Jesus suffered outside of the gate. That is, it was necessary that he was crucified outside of Jerusalem.

 

 

Matthew 21:39. So they took him, and threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

Mark 12:8. They took him, killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

Luke 20:15. They threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do to them?

John 19:17. He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called “The Place of a Skull”, which is called in Hebrew, “Golgotha”,

Hebrews 13:12. Therefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people through his own blood, suffered outside of the gate.
