Missing Something – a Haiku poem
I wrote this Haiku poem after skipping contemplative prayer for three days.
Last Friday I skipped
My quiet hour with Jesus
For pastoral work
All weekend I skipped
To read and study but now
Quiet eludes me
My heart is not still
A stream of thoughts drowns my heart
Time to rest in God
