Without Jesus – a Haiku poem
I wrote this Haiku poem after an intense session of Contemplative Prayer.
Without you, Jesus
Without you I’d be lonely
And so incomplete
Without you, Jesus
My core of meaning is gone
Nothing would fulfill
Without you, Jesus
I’d be overtaken by
Emptiness and pain
Don’t let me leave you
Keep me faithful to you, Lord
Never let me part
