After a year of church Ministry – a Haiku poem
I wrote this Haiku poem after an intense session of Contemplative Prayer.
It just fizzled out
Contemplative prayer dried up
I couldn’t sit still
I loved Jesus Christ
But special grace went away
I couldn’t pray well
Then in my new town
God began calling me back
Contemplative prayer
Praying in the church
Loving Jesus with my heart
Singing hymns inside
He touched my spirit
It tumbled around in me
It detached and flew
