God Delights In You

Many Christians labor under a heavy burden that God is against them. However, the Bible tells us God delights in his people!

 

 

Psalm 18:19. He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me. (ESV translation)

Psalm 37:23. The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. (NLT translation)

Psalm 41:11. By this I know that You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.

Psalm 147:11. The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. (NIV translation)

Psalm 149:4. For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. (NLT translation)

Proverbs 12:22. Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who do the truth are his delight.

Isaiah 62:4. You will not be called Forsaken any more, nor will your land be called Desolate any more; but you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you, and your land will be married.

Zephaniah 3:17. The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. (NIV translation)
