Scripture Memory and being ready to explain

| | | | | |

If we’re living the Christian life, people will eventually ask us questions. By memorizing key Bible verses, you can always be ready! UPDATED.

We Christians should always be ready for questions about the Lord Jesus Christ. If we are not, we will miss an opportunity to minister to the person asking.

The most powerful answer to a question is the Bible. By sharing a pertinent Bible verse, we can touch somebody for Jesus Christ.

Ideally, we will always be ready for questions. St. Peter writes about always being ready:

1 Peter 3:15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.

We prepare ourselves to provide a kindly, intelligent, respectful answer to people who ask about our faith in Jesus Christ:

Colossians 4:6. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Memorizing key Bible verses will help us be ready and willing to discuss our faith with people.
