The Light Shines in the Darkness
The divine light shines into the darkness of our lives and world. We often overlook it or misunderstand it, ignore it or hate it. But it is never extinguished.
THE DIVINE LIGHT SHINES
The divine light of Jesus Christ shines into the darkness of our lives.
It provides inspiration and guidance. It gives us hope and strengthens our faith. It helps us overcome our fears. It helps us be more fruitful for the kingdom of God.
It is a harbinger of grace. It gives us indicators of God’s will for our lives. It makes us agents of unity instead of disunity. It might even bring healing.
It convicts us of wrongdoing. It leads us in the path of godliness and joy. It gives us the strength we need for adversity. It helps us grow in the power of God. It delivers us from evil.
As individuals, we often overlook it or misunderstand it, ignore it or hate it. Then we fall into complaining and arguing. We risk becoming the bad guys, falling into great evils such as greed or racism or even antisemitism.
But the divine light is never extinguished.
