Three Days in the Tomb
The Lord Jesus predicted that he would be killed, spend three days in the tomb, and then be raised up.
INTRODUCTION
The Lord Jesus predicted that he would be killed, spend three days in the tomb, and then be raised up.
These events were key parts of the mission of Jesus Christ. They were predicted by the prophets.
Some of the texts mention “three days and three nights.” At first glance, that seems to mean 72 continuous hours. However, it can also mean one 24-hour day plus a part of the day before and a part of the day after.
