All Scripture is God-breathed
The Scripture texts have a human author. But that human author was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
INTRODUCTION
Jewish and Christian spirituality is based on the notion of Revealed Truth.
Truth was divinely revealed. It was carefully written down.
There was a human author. But that human author was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The nature of the Christian revelation is that it forms a message that was written down. It is extensive enough that whole books were written.
The Bible does not tell us everything. Rather, it tells us only what we need to know.
