Sirach 48:1. Also there arose Elijah the prophet as fire, And his word burned like a torch:

Matthew 17:2. He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.

Matthew 28:3. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

2 Peter 1:19. Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and Christ the Morning Star shines in your hearts. Revelation 1:14. His head and his hair were white as white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
