Jesus came that we may have Life

The Lord Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly.

INTRODUCTION

The Lord Jesus came that we may have LIFE

In this context, the Greek word for “life” is zoe.

That word is rich in meaning. It means you’re filled with vitality. You’re animate. You have the absolute fullness of life. Your life is active and vigorous.

The Lord Jesus Christ came that we may have a life that’s filled with vitality.

The Lord Jesus came that we may have life in ABUNDANCE

Jesus wants you to have that zoe life in abundance.

That is, over-and-above, exceeding, further, superior, extraordinary, surpassing, uncommonly, pre-eminently, remarkably.

Some people act as if Christ came to make us sad. Or maybe to prevent us from having fun. But the Bible says that God desires us to have life, life to the full.

The mission of Jesus Christ is out to build you up.
