We are called to follow Jesus
The Lord Jesus calls us to follow him. But what does that mean? How can you grow in it each day?
INTRODUCTION
Most Christians talk about the necessity of believing. A preacher exclaims:
Believe in the Lord Jesus and ye shall be saved!
But few Christians talk about the necessity of discipleship. We believe, we take up our cross, and then we follow.
We follow the Lord Jesus Christ. We imitate the life and teaching of our Master. We grow in his likeness. We minister to other people like he would. We become a living copy of him.
Discipleship is not an option. The Lord Jesus commands it.
