Whatever they do shall Prosper

|

In the Old Testament era, prospering was not seen as a result of our own vigor, but rather upon the blessing of the LORD God.

Genesis 39:2. The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man. He was in the house of his master the Egyptian.

Psalm 1:3. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. (NIV translation)

Psalm 92:12. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Proverbs 12:3. A man shall not be established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.

Jeremiah 17:8. For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.
